Part-Time Customer Service Representative – Weekends

The Plex, San Jose’s premier sports, fitness, and entertainment complex is hiring customer-obsessed Customer Service Representatives for part-time weekend shifts (days and evenings). If you believe the guest always comes first, thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment, and want a fun weekend job in San Jose, we want to hear from you.

Schedule: Weekend shifts only (Saturday and/or Sunday, day or evening). Must have reliable weekend availability.

About the Role

We put guests at the center of everything we do. Our CSRs rotate across cashier, food runner, busser, and guest ambassador roles delivering a seamless, customer-first experience from arrival to departure. You’ll be the face of The Plex every weekend.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and share current info on events, activities, and food & beverage.
  • Manage dining and activity reservations (bocce, cornhole, etc.) via POS system.
  • Take and serve food/beverage orders; handle cash and card transactions accurately.
  • Verify guest ID for alcohol service; explain menu items and daily specials.
  • Answer phones, route messages, and promote upcoming events and specials.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining and entertainment areas throughout the shift.

Qualifications

  • Customer-obsessed mindset you genuinely care about creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Calm, professional communication skills in a busy, guest-facing environment.
  • POS system or cashiering experience preferred; scheduling software a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; up to 1 year experience (entry-level welcome).
  • Weekend availability required: day or evening, Saturday and/or Sunday.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs. for the duration of a shift.
