Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. JourneyTeam is seeking an Associate Solution Specialist to join our Security & Compliance practice. This entry-level role is designed for individuals beginning their career in Microsoft cloud technologies who are eager to develop technical expertise while supporting customers and internal teams.


Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve customer support tickets related to Microsoft 365 environments, following defined SLAs and escalation paths
  • Perform routine operational tasks including user provisioning, licensing, permissions, and device enrollment
  • Monitor security alerts and escalate potential risks or incidents to senior team members
  • Execute standard troubleshooting procedures using established runbooks and document resolution details
  • Assist Solution Specialists with implementation tasks across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Azure, and Security & Compliance solutions
  • Configure baseline tenant settings and support device onboarding and conditional access configurations under guidance
  • Support repeatable deployment activities and managed services operations using JourneyTeam standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation including ticket notes, knowledge base articles, and technical instructions
  • Communicate status updates and collaborate with project managers and team members on customer work
  • Manage assigned tasks and backlog items while meeting response and resolution expectations
  • Participate in training, labs, shadowing, and certification efforts to develop technical expertise
  • Continuously build foundational knowledge of Microsoft cloud, security concepts, and troubleshooting methodology

Skills

  • Foundational understanding of IT concepts such as identity, networking, operating systems, or cloud computing (education, labs, internship, or self-study acceptable)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 or Azure environments through coursework, certifications, personal labs, or hands-on experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies quickly
  • Ability to follow structured processes and document work clearly
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
