Responsibilities • Be responsible for growing and retaining the existing customer base within our key Sports and Entertainment Seller relationships • Collaborate closely with Senior Account Manager and Account Executives to develop growth and retention strategies for our Sports and Entertainment Sellers • Understand customer needs to help achieve their business goals through Square • Cross sell and upsell products and features by discovering customer leads • Effectively and strategically address customer concerns and issues • Collaborate closely with a Senior Account Manager to help grow our Sports and Entertainment footprint • Work with Sales, Support and Product teams to make sure customers have the best possible experience across all aspects of Square • Help close any operational gaps required to effectively manage these seller relationships • Support account management peers by taking on a product specialization, becoming an expert on a product or process, and delivering feedback to PMs Skills • 2 - 3 years experience in Sales, Business Development, Relationship Management or related field • Experience discovering and closing sales opportunities and building client relationships • Experience successfully managing a pipeline to achieve revenue targets • Strong interest in business operations and strategy • Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills • Passion and knowledge about how new technologies can help better serve small and medium size businesses • Comfort in ambiguity and providing feedback on new processes that will be need continued refinement • Entrepreneurial spirit • A BA/BS or relevant experience • Experience in Sports and Entertainment operations or technology deployments is a plus Benefits • Remote work • Medical insurance • Flexible time off • Retirement savings plans • Modern family planning Company Overview • Block is one company built from many blocks, all united by the same purpose of economic empowerment.
