About the position
The RGM Cross Lever Director at McDonald's is responsible for driving long-term, sustainable, and profitable guest count growth while ensuring value and affordability for customers. This role involves collaboration across various strategic activities, including pricing, promotions, menu development, and loyalty programs, to support the execution of the company's overarching value strategy. The director will work closely with other RGM directors and report directly to the RGM lead, focusing on cross-functional coordination and planning to meet key milestones.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate Global RGM Strategy asks and deliverables, including phase planning.
- Support the RGM Lead in executing the overarching vision by defining execution priorities and driving collaboration across group leads.
- Set lever targets, strategy, and glidepath, evaluating gaps and long-term evolution to identify corrective actions.
- Own cross-lever modeling and evolution of lever vision and strategy, including guiding principles.
- Conduct quarterly assessments of RGM performance and coordinate updates from lever leads.
- Lead the development and deployment of a national training program for US stakeholders on McDonald's RGM and Pricing Strategy.
- Develop and own the RGM narrative to the system, incorporating the rationale across the levers.
- Cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional counterparts to ensure alignment across strategies and activities.
- Evaluate activation of RGM within the Delivery channel and own overall Delivery Economics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA or Masters in Finance, Economics, or Math preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in RGM, pricing, promotions, sales, CX, or loyalty with a strong emphasis on data analysis and strategic advisory.
- Knowledge of pricing and promotion dynamics in a multi-tier pricing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and manage RGM strategies.
- Prior people management experience is required.
- Ability to influence through storytelling and empathy.
- Strong quantitative focus with experience in business trend analysis and data analysis.
- Strong financial acumen with a strong mind for mathematics/statistics.
